Overview

Join our estimating team and play a key role in winning projects across NYC. You'll prepare takeoffs and cost estimates for façade restoration, roofing, waterproofing, and structural work—collaborating with PMs, engineers, and vendors to build accurate, competitive bids. If you're detail-driven, fast on your feet, and thrive under tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Handle

• Prepare detailed takeoffs, quantity surveys, and cost estimates for façade restoration, concrete repair, roofing, waterproofing, structural work, and special projects

• Review drawings, specs, addenda, and site conditions to build accurate scopes and identify gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and validate assumptions

• Assist in bid strategy, schedules, and proposal packaging for private and public projects

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs as needed

• Maintain historical cost data and continuously refine pricing models

• Support in issuing RFI’s, clarifications, and follow-ups during the bidding phase

• Work closely with leadership to ensure bids align with company goals and profitability targets

What You Bring

• Strong experience with exterior construction estimating (façades, roofing, waterproofing, concrete)

• Strong ability to read drawings, interpret technical documents, and break down complex scopes

• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, PlanGrid/Autodesk Build, and related tools

• High attention to detail and the ability to produce clean, structured estimates under tight deadlines

• Clear communication skills and confidence interacting with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams

• A proactive mindset and the ability to identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities before they become issues
