Seven floors above Fifth Avenue on La Maison Française, 610 Loft & Garden is one of Rockefeller Center's historic rooftop gardens and one of New York City's most sought-after event venues. Royal carried out a full restoration of the roof and garden. The team removed the overburden down to the concrete deck, carefully salvaged the original stone, repaired the deck, and installed a new Siplast Parapro IRMA waterproofing system, warrantied for the next 30 Years. From there, Royal rebuilt the garden with new planter walls, stairs, a reflecting pool, stone pavers, landscaping and irrigation. The work also included limestone and brick masonry, new roof drains and reinforced flashings, and electronic leak detection testing to confirm the finished roof was watertight.
